PROJECT BRIEF

Croog is a Berlin-based publisher covering the EDM music scene. They are building a multimedia news website that covers EDM artists, new releases, and music reviews. They’re also planning to produce a serial podcast with EDM DJ Max Stölberger.

On this project I designed the logomark+brand, design system, conducted UX research, and completed 20 hi-fidelity mockups for Croog.

CONCLUSION

Designing for a music blog is incredibly fun. The Croog owners had a good understanding of their target demographic, and knew what kind of content they wanted to publish. Beyond that, they let me steer the creative direction and design language for their brand. What a great project! I wish Max, Joel, and Hans all the best!

Launch is planned for Fall 2023.
