Sans Savon

Storefront UX and Branding

PROJECT BRIEF

Eli + Erica Halliwell, are embarking on another mission to bring awareness to the harmful chemicals in mass-produced soaps with Sans Savon. Their goal is to offer an innovative product line of hand & body washes that incorporate skin-hydrating ingredients – not the industrial detergents you’ll often find in major soap brands.

On this project, I worked with Lemonade Creative and Helen Steed, who both have deep experience in the beauty products space.

Steed worked closely with the Halliwells to come up with a great branding guide that functioned as the creative “north star” for us to tackle the entire website build out.

This was going to be a pretty ambitious task… so we needed all the help we could get!

At the outset of the project, my goal was to get a really solid understanding of the visual language. This involved adding a few bepoke icons, adding new shades from the color palette, and finally the cornerstone design elements.

After I had a good handle on that, I started putting together the pages. Perhaps the most pivotal design was the Marketing Landing page which is the first page that new customers see.

It was important layout information in a way that allows for customers to get educated on the product.

Altogether about 30 pages for both desktop, and mobile were designed. Below is a selection of those screens.

CONCLUSION

I’m super excited to see Sans Savon launching in the next few months! It was a great experience working on this project that really challenged my branding skills since I’m accustomed to working on SaaS apps.
