PROJECT BRIEF

Verikai is an Insurtech startup that uses AI/ML to help underwriters make more informed decisions and identify high-risk policies.

As one of the first employees at Verikai, I was the senior front-end developer that led the team working on the v1.0 marketing pages. This was my first introduction to the world of design, and where I discovered my love for design!

CONCLUSION

When Verikai launched in 2018, it was considered one of the first entrants in the InsurTech space. Their latest funding round was in July 2020 from a Series-A raising just over $4M.

When I left Verikai, I was incredibly anxious about making a career change to enter the design field. In hindsight, I look back on my experience at Verikai as one of the biggest contributors to inspiring me to pursue ambitious startup ideas.
